of Quintessence

School of Quintessence began in 2024 with a single small class and a big vision. In just our first year, we’ve grown to nearly fifty students across three vibrant classrooms. This 2026-27 academic year we offer grades five through seven (elementary and middle school). With plans for continued growth in service to our thriving community, we are offering a new enrichment program.

Why waldorf trained teachers?

Our teachers apply their knowledge and understanding to provide a holistic educational journey.

More than an education

School of Quintessence is an experiential learning community dedicated to the growth of the whole being. Learn more about our pedagogy and educator philosophy.

Core principles

Our philosophy and pedagogical methods are shaped by the expertise of our teachers. As Waldorf-trained educators, our community is committed to following the core principles of Waldorf education.

School of Quintessence is accepting enrollment for kindergarten through middle school. To meet the developmental needs of our students, School of Quintessence offers a highly-engaging and experiential program.

Elementary program

The elementary school program at School of Quintessence is taught by Waldorf-trained lead teachers with extensive experience with elementary-age students.

Tuition and fees

School of Quintessence is a microschool and is funded by the support of its community. ESA funds through the State of Arizona are the primary means by which our families pay tuition.

As a nonprofit dedicated to the learning and growth of our community, we aim to make our school financially accessible for everyone.
